Great, just great

Today, I introduced my girlfriend to my dad. I thought it was a good idea at the time, at least until he took her aside for a private chat. During the chat, he told her all about my two previous marriages and advised her to "get out while you can". FML
I agree, your life sucks 29 050

Maybe he has a good reason for saying that? After all you have been divorced twice...

Shit as a mother if you've been married twice then there's something wrong with you and I would warn her too !!

My mother is in her third (and likely final) marriage. Therefore, the number of a person's marriages doesn't necessarily denote the quality of the person(s) involved. Some people simply don't get along, and I know for sure that my mother is an awesome woman. |the kid|

This exact thing happened to my sister-but as my broth-in-law's parents had both died, it was his sister who said it to her... They just celebrated their 9th anniversary and his sister finally apologized for saying it

Either your dad was just trying to be funny or he was just being a dick... Sorry op

My mother-in-law told me the same thing , I should have listened to her then cuz now I'm divorcing her son after being with him for 3 years and having his son . Now I'm ex-wife number 2

Wait, you're 20 years old. So you were 17 when you started dating him and he was already divorced, which means that he probably was a lot older than you. And looking at your picture, you had his child when you were barely a year together? I wanted to give a mean comment, but I'll just swallow my tongue. Let's just say that I think he's not the only one to blame for the failed relationship.

The third time isn't always the charm. If you've already been divorced twice, there's a reason for it. Either you're attracting the same women, or there is something wrong with you. Go talk to someone about it and get to the root of it before you get married a third time.

If your own dad is warning your women, maybe you're worth avoiding?

#5 They have yet to find the bodies . . .

I think it might be a good idea to find out why your Dad warned her off. What do you need to do to be a good partner and what mistakes did you make? Yes - I'm sure your ex-wives had their issues too but you need to be responsible for yourself.
