Good advice

Today, I was advised to never have kids because they ruin your life, ruin your body, cost you money, stress you out, and the end result is they become an adult you don’t even really like or would choose to spend time with if you weren’t related. It was both my parents who gave me this advice. FML

You must have brothers or sisters who really suck, because surely they can't be talking about you. You probably should take their advice, because your kid will be doomed with at least one set of asshole grandparents.

Nothing they said was untrue.

Nothing they said was untrue.

They still didn't have to say it to OP's face. It's not like OP asked to be born.

It's not true in all cases. The only part that's unequivocally true is they cost money. With some luck, parenting can be a great joy!

Expert opinions right there but in all seriousness don’t take what your parents say as anything but regrets If others start telling you the same then maybe start listening

All of that is 100% true, I wish more people would realize that before it's too late.

Not completely wrong. They are warning you because kids are angels and demons depending on the second. they do cost a lot of money especially if your baby is on formula one can can be $30-$70 dollars and probably more. Diapers are just as expensive. 1 month supply is about $45 if you're lucky and this can go on until 3-4 yrs old depending on when the kid is potty trained.

That sounds like an accurate description to me! Don't take it personally, if you're an insufferable **** they're the ones that raised you and it's only partly your fault...and if you're not.. you have some terrible siblings

Harsh, and sucks to hear that they don't like you, but they don't need to. They shouldn't have said all that to your face though; they chose to raise you. They could have kept that last part to themselves no matter how true and common that is.
