Today, I learned my husband thinks that our 10-year relationship has been a "step above mediocre" since 8 years ago, when we got married, and his family melted down that our wedding didn't happen their way, and thus began their undermining of our relationship. He believes it's "no one's fault." Uh huh. FML

A "step above mediocre" is better than a lot of couples are doing. Not too shabby. Still, somewhat shabby, but not excessive in shabbiness.

To be fair my wife described me as a room mate the other day and so I welcome you to lock down relationships. I'm sure we will all our relationships will get a lift once we're allowed out again.

Anyone who defiantly thinks they have a right to make decisions in SOMEONE ELSE'S wedding is probably also meddling in other areas of the relationship and continuing to undermine the wife. So yes. They reap what the sow. They earned their blame.
