Pfft that’s all?
They also have giant crocodiles
Bats that are as big as foxes
Lizards
Pythons
Shit even the pinecones can kill you
Imagine dying to one of those? that’s an FML in its own right.

Don't worry; the huntsman's spiders don't bite and are actually quite nice to humans. Also, the giant bats only eat fruits and the lizards are harmless. Crocodiles stay in their farms and pythons are quite big, so again, no worry here. There's a kind of spiders that does bite, though, but if you tap your shoes against the floor every morning, you will not get bitten, especially since you don't live even close to Australia.

I’ve been bitten by numerous huntsman spiders. And no I do not torment them for fun, they torment me for fun.

Australian here 🙋🏻♀️
Huntsmans are scary if you don’t expect them to be where they are, they’re not gonna crawl on you in the middle of the night; besides, they don’t crawl, they run. Yes they’re fast little fuckers, but you can either let them outside or kill them with fly spray.
Australia is a beautiful country, I love living here, in the 19 years I’ve been here (I was born in nz) I’ve seen probably 100 huntsman, 4 or 5 wild snakes, a billion lizards, a handful of crocs, and our bats are harmless too, they only want your fruit trees.
My main thing is, when it’s raining, don’t cross a foot bridge and put your hands on the sides, huntsmans cling to them when in the rain. You’ll see hundreds of them clinging for life waiting for the rain to stop, but you have to know what to look for, otherwise they blend into the wood.

A Huntsman Spider is not one to worry about! A Brown Recluse bite though...that one is for nightmares.

I love huntsman spiders. They are harmless to humans, but deadly to cockroaches.

If you’re in the US, you should look up camel spiders!

Huntsman spiders prefer to be under covers.

Just letting you know, your true initiation into being an Aussie is when you feel your pillow move and a huntsman runs out from under the pillow and up the wall/headboard.
