Don't dip your pen in company ink, etc.

Today, after 2 years of searching, I finally have a job that I love. Now I'm probably going to lose it because I started having sex with one of my managers, and our coworkers are starting to catch on. They caught on pretty much the day I told him that we should stop having sex so we wouldn't lose our jobs. FML

Yeah... Your number one rule should be not to fuck your colleagues. Especially those who are -ahem- above you. It complicates things.

You deserve whatever is coming to you

So you violated company policy (most likely) and then said out loud that you were in front of your coworkers?

I fail to see why you would risk your “dream job”, like that in the first place.

I think you have misread the post. She never told her coworkers. She told 'him' that they should stop seeing each other, her coworkers happen to figure it out on the same day she ended it.

It is always a bad idea to get involved with a manager. If you loved the job so much you should have avoided such situations.
