Since you consider that "the bad part," no you shouldn't. Not yet, anyway. Read up a lot on the different ways to do polyamory and open marriages. And the pitfalls thereof. If you go into it, do it with open eyes. Experimenting without knowing WTF you're doing will get you both hurt.

This right here. everyone has their kinks, and for most people they never feel "normal". But talk to your partner, and if you are both on board and understanding of the risks, both emotional and otherwise, then as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult... it's not really anyone else's business.
