Congratulations, you played yourself

Today, my friend and I wanted to get some alcohol (we're under 21). We went to a liquor store and asked a random guy to go in and buy us some vodka. After giving him $20, he said he had to go turn off his car, then he'd get us the drinks. He got in his car and drove off, with my $20. FML

Sorry, but that's what might happen if you ask white trash to buy you liquor. This is why you ask an older sibling or an older friend to get it for you instead. Don't have those connections? Too.bad. Wait until you are old enough, problem solved.

you're an idiot & a fail at life. i would have done the same thing if i ws that guy.

Okay OP... I'm torn! To start with I can't believe nobody in here has done just that? We used to do that ALL THE TIME! (advice: go with women... far less likely to screw you over like that) Now... as for the "I have to go turn off my car" statement... really, that didn't seem at all like a lie to you? He (i'm assuming having done this before) was already walking into the store... now that he had to pick up one more item he needed to turn off his car? COME ON! Call BS!!! If your going to do this, be a better judge of charactor! Now... On a completely unrelated side note... I was on my way to the store today and this dumbass kid gave me twenty bucks to purchase him and his friends some beer, I told him I was going to run back to shut off my car but then I would get it for them... I just left! lol dumb kids!

It's really easy for FML users to cast judgment from the comfort of their own homes. Don't worry about it. Either they're also drinking underage, drank underage, willingly abstained, or had no social lives. Don't let it get you down.

#46 Actually, they don't. That's why they had to find someone else to buy it for them.

#44 Really? Come on... are you that "naive" to think that they were put into those "situations" because they were underage? You still get into those situations even if you are of "country recognized legal age"... The drinking ages are stupid... by the time your 21 alcohol is much less fun! I hate this crap... you can DIE FOR YOUR COUNTRY at 18... you can get married, start your life, have kids (well there is no age on that one but still), go to college, but you can't buy alcohol till your 21??? FTS!

#46 Actually, they don't. That's the idea behind having an age limit.

#125 that is such a rediculously bold and wrong statement!!! 18-20yo's still drink so if they didn't care about drinking and driving... uh, dumbass... they would still be drinking and driving and the rate would stay the SAME! Oh... and I don't know if you have ever been to a bar before, but all those people leave when the bar closes... They are all over 21 (or have fake id's) and most of them drive home (or to the after party to get more trashed)... 95% of the people at the bar are drinking (a lot), the parking lot is full, how the **** do they get home??? teleport???? you suck at life!
