Today, I somehow managed to slice open my thumb. The dangerous weapon that caused this to happen? Velcro. FML

You were lulled into a false sense of security by the innocuous-sounding brand name. If you used the generic term, hook-and-loop tape, you'd have been more careful. Hooks, man, motherfuckin hooks!!! You think Peter Pan would be scared of Captain Velcro?

I feel ya. I poked myself in the eye with a paper bag one time and had to use eye drops for a week.

I can relate...I once sliced my thumb open taking the “pull tab” lid off a soup can and had to go get a tetanus shot haha
