Been there, done that

Today, I broke up with my girlfriend for another girl. This other girl helped me break up with her so we could date. After it was all done, she promptly rejected me and in front of everyone, saying how much of a douche I was for leaving my girlfriend for another girl. FML

You two would have been perfect for each other; you both sound like douche-waffles.

Not gonna lie, you should never break up with one person for another. Reason? Because even if she did start dating you she would always suspect you of planning to break up with her. Sorry that she made you out to be an asshole but really...you should have just broken up with your gf on your own and just waited a little while before going for that other girl.

That is a douche move. You ARE a douche. Do you always go dumping people for other people? If you didn't want to be with your girlfriend anymore that's fine, but it's a crappy thing to already have a new girlfriend lined up before you even dump the first one. You should be thankful the new girl rejected you now. Or one day Karma would've had your wife dump you for another man.

At the risk of sounding like a grandmother, cheaters never prosper.

Yeah your pretty much at fault. Can't believe she helped you execute. I really have to wonder if they were working together on this. You would still deserve it. It's just awful convenient she grew morals in the end. Without more information who knows, but most definitely boo to you sir.

Karma got you real quick, huh? Lessons learned, don't break up with one person to immediately jump to another person. That's just tacky

I'm not 100% sure you should be in a relationship at all if you need "help" breaking up with someone. In my opinion, YDI.

That sucks, but on the other hand, you have now learned a valuable life lesson: never trust a woman who tries to break up an established relationship. Especially when she claims to be angling to replace one of the parties involved.
