Bad timing

Today, I called my husband and he told me that he was going to invite his friend Jeff over that night. I told him I would prefer that he didn't come over. He took it to mean that I wanted to spend time with him and came home with flowers. Then had to tell him I was leaving him. FML

dont listen to 56, and 57 is right about the double standard (i am a guy but i notice it too) although i do not understand how the OP could think this is worse on her than her husband... plus 57 at the end you said the husband did not notice the wife being cheated on... HELLO! HE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE CHEATING! although it sucks for all parties involved... a break up is worse on the person being dumped than the person doing it. and i hate how you said you "had too" break up with him then, it could have waited

shame, you didn't have to do it that night and I'm pretty sure he's feeling worse than you are, get the **** over yourself.

Damn this is vague... breakups suck, but shit, be more clear how about a textbook: "i think we need to talk" people these dayum days

For future references tell him you need to discuss something very important.

I don't really see how your life is the one that sucks here

sorry lady but this really just makes you seem like a heartless bitch. maybe if your husband got on here and wrote it from his pov its a FML. FYL cause that's ****** up.

Dumbass, your life isn't ******,his is. Secondly, you seem like a heartless bitch.

she's not a bitch for not loving him anymore - no, he may not have even cheater (why are people thinking that?) she wasnt expecting him to bring flowers and probably prepared to leave him during the day (or more) so after all that, how are you meant to pretend you're still in love when he walks through the door? you make it sound as if she had to stay with him because of flowers. nice of him but nicer to leave him than lead him on.

why are you leaving him, at least he still gets you flowers!!! FHL, YDI and you didn't have to make the choice to leave him today, obviously there;s a chance it would've worked out.
