Tell him/her one thing at a time, then make connections and get to the root of the problem.
There's absolutely NO reason for OP to try and make it easier for her therapist... That's the therapists job.
The therapists job is to make it easier for the therapist? No wonder why my therapist threw me out the widow.
Yeah, it's (part of) the therapists job to make it easier for herself. She takes the scattered information from the patient and it's her job to dechipher it and make sense of it... Where did I go wrong exactly?
Sorry op. If you need some one to talk to I'm here. Shoot me a message. That goes to every one else as well.
53, there's some people that would rather talk to a complete stranger so that they don't get biased opinions from a friend. Imagine, talking to a friend about a problem with a bf/gf, if you are unhappy, they are most likely going to tell you to leave because they care about you. A stranger will tell you what they would do, without knowing the other person or yourself. They would either tell you the same as a friend, or they'd give you ways to fix the issue.
That's awful. It sounds like your psychiatrist is just lazy
No they're not being lazy. Therapy is a very intimate, long term process - so client and psychiatrist both have to be comfortable with working with each other.

#80 Probably because he already posted it, and double posting is annoying.
That is very insensitive, she should have referred you to someone who has the ability and competence to help instead of making you feel bad.
It's a good thing she was honest with you. I think it's more of a statement of her skill level then it being any sort of a statement on you.
It's pretty shitty if a professional therapist says she can't help you with your problems. I guess she needs to Go back to college man.
Being crazy isn't so bad, just control it so it doesn't damage your life.
I'm pretty sure if you're crazy you can't control it..

I think you should look for a different therapist....
At least she was honest with you instead of pretending to help and taking your money for weeks.
