Today, my mom told me that I am going to end up getting myself pregnant. I am 21 and a virgin. She continued to yell at me and call me a liar all night. I don't know which is worse, being a 21 year old virgin or my mother accusing me of lying about it. FML

I waited until I was 19 to lose my virginity. I wanted to be sure I was ready and that it was at least with someone I could trust (being realistic, I wasn't expecting any magical, romantic affair). To me, the story you've got afterward is very important. "I gave it up to a good friend that I trusted, and it was pretty lame sex but I felt good afterward," really trumps "I hooked up with a guy I don't even like that much and afterwards I felt like shit."

@24: I thought most guys liked virgins. It's nice when you share a new experience with someone, and sex is a good experience. Getting drunk for the first time with someone is also fun. So yeah I'd probably like losing my virginity to a virgin. Being with a virgin and having her give that up for you, finding you special enough among others that have come before you, is probably something a lot of guys or girls would like.
