Today, I sent the girl I like flowers, only to have her later post a picture of them online, saying, "Ha! When losers send you flowers." FML
Today, I sent flowers to my ex, scheduled to be delivered after work in the evening. She texted me at midday thanking me for the flowers. I looked at my shipping order and they haven’t been sent yet. FML
Today, I sent a guy in my English class a rose. He's kind of an outcast, so I though it would be a nice gesture. I asked him later how his day was going and he said, "Good. I got a rose this morning, but I could tell it was from a guy. The handwriting was awful." FML
Today, I planned a romantic dinner with rose petals, the whole lot, for my ex-girlfriend to win her back. When I took her to my house, I told her to guess what I had planned, to which she replied, "I hope it's not a stupid romantic dinner with rose petals and shit." FML
Today, I bought my crush a bouquet of roses plus one fake. The line was going to be, "I'll stop loving you when the last rose dies." I told my best friend and he thought it was such an amazing idea that he stole the fake rose and gave it to her himself. Guess who got the girl. FML
Today, I sent a text message to my boyfriend, saying, "Come over in an hour, I love you." An hour later, the doorbell rang. It was my ex, looking happy and still as smitten with me as before, with a bunch of roses. I'd got the wrong number. My ex and my boyfriend have the same name. FML
Today, I brought my girlfriend flowers. All she managed to do was to say, "It’s been a year since you brought me flowers." FML
Today, I surprised my girlfriend with roses. She surprised me by getting back together with her ex. FML
Today, my girlfriend came home with a huge bouquet of roses. They were from an admirer, brainwashing her to think I'm a terrible boyfriend for not buying her flowers like he did. FML
Today, I got flowers sent to my work, I happily opened them in front of my co-workers thinking they were from my crush, I open the card to see "Love you, from mom". My mother thinks my love life is so pathetic, thats she needs to send me flowers to cheer me up. FML

77: For all you know, OP might be pestering her and generally being desperate/clingy. I had a similar experience to that with my ex. He treated me like shit then when I broke up with him he decided love letters and shit like that were a good idea. You never know the full story behind these things.

Well I've only dated 3 guys. One of them I lost contact with because he lives 8 hours away, another I still talk to sometimes only because we go to different schools and on friendly terms with and the last one, I go to school with and I talk to and he is a friend. Personally none of these guys have been jerks. You just have to find the right one and know their personality. i usually can tell if a guy is a jerk or not. I'm not trying to be mean, but I've noticed most girls go after the jerk guys and ignore the ones who will make them happy.

They never said moving on WAS easy. They said OP should try STARTING to move on. Which is true. The sooner he comes to terms with the fact that his ex wants to remain an ex, the better it will be for him. It might take time. But eventually, it will be worth it.
