Today, I’ve suffered my whole life with a bunch of genetic conditions and I found out why at my dad's funeral. A bunch of relatives from America attended and one of them secretly told me my parents emigrated to England under a cloud of shame because they were brother and sister. I’m inbred. FML

Ouch. But at least you know what the root cause of your problems are now. It's probably not helpful in a physical sense but it answers the 'why is this happening to me?' question. I'd get your GP to just double check that though. Relatives can be bitches. If it is true then a few rounds with a mental health professional should help you to deal with it. 🫂

I'm pretty sure his parents changed of country to go somewhere where nobody knew they were brother and sister. And I highly doubt they openly told they were in an incestuous relationship once they were in England.

Hey, at least you got to spend a lot of time with your uncle and your aunt. Why did they have to leave America? England has less tolerance for that abomination than does, say, Mississippi.
