i wouldn't even waste your time being upset. she clearly had no problem letting you go. she definitely had someone else otherwise she wouldn't have left so suddenly. i agree that some women are completely ruthless. it's not fair to just blame men these days, seriously. if she couldn't couldn't deal, she's better gone. FYL though... because that still sucks. :/
Sorry, Crud, but long distance just doesn't work. There may be rare exceptions and conditions where it can, but the odds are high that it will fail. Break up now without anger or bitterness, and if you ever are in the same area again, try to get back together, and don't ask to many questions about the interim ;)
I disagree. A lot of LDR's don't work because the people involved with them would've broken up regardless of distance between the two. My fiance and I had to live apart for 4 months because he was doing a 7 month internship and I had to go back to school to finish up. But, we'd also been together for almost 4 years.
an LDR worked for me and my girlfriend for 14 months. When I had to move another few hundred miles farther away, that's when she broke it off "because of the distance"
Actually, avoidthegirl, you don't really disagree with me. I just did not spell out the conditions on which an LDR can work. One of them would have been where the separation is for a fixed, known amount of time. I had a girlfriend who had to go to France every summer and we were together for three years (and ended up breaking up in the winter, by the way.) Our anecdotes don't really prove much, though. My point was that LDR's rarely work, and if I could put my hands on statistical data, I'll bet that my assertion holds true.
perdix, that may have been the most sentimental post from you I've ever seen...
YDI for being naive
same here man. My bf swore he'll make long dist work and that we will get married next year. but he went off with his arms around other girls once i was gone and broke up with me. Just got to deal with it. I'm convinced long distance never works.
BAHAHAHAHHAA. I know I shouldnt laugh, but HA. Thats AWFUL. She probably didnt want to do it face to face, pathetic. Sorry to hear bout that man.

Long distance is the name of the game for all military couples at one point or another. If she can't hack it, she's not worth it.
You found out about her before she could inflict serious damage in your life. Smile!
