Dieting isn’t about cutting calories and starving yourself. It’s about making better purchasing decisions when you’re in the supermarket, eating fresh produce and less processed food. Improve your relationship with food and stop being a crybaby cos your bf wants a change.
Your boyfriend is an idiot for pressuring you into this diet. Starving yourself and overly aggressive workouts can cause short and long term damage to your body, which is never worth anyone. He can leave if he doesn't appreciate you for who you are. If you - and *only* you - want to lose weight safely, talk to your doctor and/or registered nutritionist about a healthy diet and lifestyle specific to your needs. I'll bet you don't even need to lose weight anyway.
The human body runs on two things fats and glucose so being on a low fat diet isn't healthy duh! 🙄🤦 if you're going to diet actually go see a nutritionist. Then have them make a plan for your specific body needs! no two people are the same when it comes to a diet and they must be tailored to each individual.
To lose weight, or just to feel better, walking outside or on a treadmill is the best thing. 4 miles is approx. 10,000 steps, but start with shorter distance if that's too much. Train, don't strain. Also, F any boyfriend who tells you what to eat. For many people, low-carb works better than low-fat, but it's up to YOU.
