Sadly dementia and an inability to comprehend the difference between “now” and “then” is a terrible thing. People who were once fully capable of dealing with life become child-like or worse and no longer recognize even relatives or loved ones. My Dad’s second wife developed Alzheimer's. Just before dad was no longer able to care for her because of his heart condition, she was regularly outsmarted by her dog. Towards the end she no longer recognize Dad and sometimes had screaming episodes when she was in distress. My Dad visited her 4 or 5 times a week even to the end. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease - The mind dies but the body goes on… There is nothing good that will come from further examining the information that was revealed. You could tell yourself it was just incoherent rambling that meant nothing if that helps. But the chances are that Mom revealed a secret she meant to take to the grave… Sometimes life gives us a shit sandwich and there’s not a thing we can do about it. Do not take anything that was said as being your fault - You were an unwilling participant. Parents, no matter their ages, are human with flaws, mistakes, and secrets. Sometimes those secrets come out via dementia, sometimes via DNA testing, and sometimes after a person dies and you find evidence in the form of letters. It’s way too late to judge Mom on what she may have done long ago. What counts more is how she dealt with the consequences and I assume she was a decent mother to you when you needed it growing up.
my aunts mom had Alzheimer's, she told everyone in her nursing home that my aunt used to be a prostitute. my aunt has never been a prostitute, but been with the same man since she was 17. sometimes it's just stories that they come up with.
Yeah, you should have told your mom not to cheat on your dad. You should have thought about that before you were conceived!
She may be calling to the angels hun its when they are nearing the end check her for a uti
