Today, I told my boyfriend to stop tickling me, since I absolutely hate being tickled. He got extremely pissed at me and left the room. It took me a full five minutes to realize that I'd called him by my ex's name. FML
Today, just as we got done having probably the best sex of our relationship, my partner called me her ex's name. FML
Today, I was having sex with my girlfriend when I said the wrong name in bed. On top of that, it was the name of her ex-husband's ex-girlfriend. Who he cheated on my girlfriend with while they were together. FML
Today, I was having sex with the guy I've been in love with for years. I moaned, "say my name." He didn't know it. FML
Today, whilst having sex, my husband screamed out a man's name. FML
Today, while having hot passionate sex with my boyfriend, while I was moaning his name, he was coming to release and yelled out, "NO, THIS IS PATRICK!" His name isn't Patrick. FML

To be honest OP...I dont think i could date someone with the same name as an ex...just because of this kind of situation but that's just me.

I think it's a terrible idea to cut off dating anyone for something as frivolous as their name. It's not like they picked it. Still; OP's boyfriend is a little bit of a party pooper over not dealing with his insecurities about OP with another guy. Now I'd understand if the names were different.... Did that to a girl once. I was quick enough to change it from "Jess" to "Je--yesss"
