Did they RSVP that they were coming and then just not pitch? Or were 35 invites issued and no one RSVP’d (as can be common these days) so you were just hoping like hell that some of the 35 would arrive? Are you sure the invites were received? Were they emailed, WhatsApp’d, snail mailed?
