Today, on my way to school, I was shouted at by an obnoxious businessman for sitting down on the train when a "full fare paying passenger" was standing. I would normally have given him the seat straight away, except I have a broken leg. I showed him my leg and crutches. He still made me get up. FML

Today, I got on a train and spotted a free seat. I rushed over, sat down and sighed with relief, only to realize people were looking at me. That’s when I saw the “Reserved for the elderly or disabled” sign…and the man with a cane standing in front of me. I immediately offered him the seat, but he just shook his head and said, “You’re gonna need it after this shaming.” FML

I would've told him to be paitient because I would have to get off the bus at some point. He can have my seat after I get off. If his stop comes before mine, not my fault.

If you are injured I would think their would be an exception to the law in Australia for that student or not that shouldn't matter. And the "obesity disability" stated above as a joke actual is considered real...but only works in America sadly why it works at all is beyond me being overweight is not a disability being injured like you OP is. Temporary but qualifies.

You're all assholes. Plenty of people are fat for medical reasons and making larger people feel bad is not going to motivate them to become as skinny as you. Think before you speak, you could really affect someone with stupid comments like that.
