Today, my girlfriend decided it would be cute to leave a love letter in my car while I was at work. She left my lights on. I got a dead battery. FML

Not the brightest bulb in the shed, but the idea was nice enough to give your relationship a jump-start, no?

Just don't hit her for her mistake! You'll definitely be charged with battery.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

14, no, #3 has read some fairly recent FMLs.

Aw, that sucks OP. but it's not her fault, she was just trying to do something nice for you so don't be mad. =)

yo be happy you have a girl that cares about you enough to write you a love letter in the first place.

Better it be a love letter than a break up notice.

This reminds me of something I'd do. Except, I have yet to make such a mistake, now I'm aware that I should be careful with the car lights. She really cares about you, OP, cherish the letter & kindly let her know so she doesn't make the same mistake again. I've done tiny mistakes myself & it helps to know what I did to avoid problems in the relationship & for I can help correct them if possible. Communication really is key. ^_^ Be grateful you have someone that loves you by avoiding getting mad at her at times like this.

Huh.. Why did I read that as grandma instead of girlfriend, twice?

I hate it when you do something nice for someone and then it ends up ruining someone's day...

The real question is...how did she get into YOUR car -.-

69- She probably has a spare key. You know, in case he locks his keys in his car or loses them.

When I used to leave stuff in my boyfriends car I would just hint at him to leave it unlocked.

She probably left them on thinking that you would go out to your car.
