Today, my girlfriend broke up with me. She later came into the T-Mobile that I work at to return the Sidekick that I bought for her. I had to transfer her account to a new Iphone. She got the Iphone from her new boyfriend, who works across the street from me. FML
Today, I was dumped by my girlfriend because she wanted to be with a man who has an income and a stable career. We are seniors in college and I accepted a really good job offer which I start once I graduate, which she knows about. She dumped me for a drug dealer. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because I was unsuccessful at a job interview, and she didn't want to be with someone who "has no future". She's unemployed too. FML
Today, the girl I have been dating for the past couple months broke it off with me. She said she's tired of waiting around for me and being ignored in the mean time. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have been so greedy as to finish my 2 degrees and work 2 jobs to pay for my school. How selfish of me. FML
Today, my girlfriend, who I’ve been madly in love with for 18 months, left me for some guy she met two weeks ago. I was planning to propose to her next week. FML
Today, my girlfriend dumped me for another guy. Last week, she wrote sweet things like "Love you forever" and "Light of my life" on my arm cast. I have to wait two more weeks until it's taken off. FML

Today, my boyfriend dumped me because he said he needed to be with someone smart so that he could impress his parents. I just got accepted into medical school. When I pointed that out to him, he added that he needed to be with someone attractive. FML
Today, after supporting my girlfriend for over a year in her endeavour to lose weight, exercise more, and eat better, my now-slender girlfriend dumped me, because she's found someone "better" than me. FML

In the short term, at least, the T-mobile kiosk guy might be able to provide greater financial stability... not only will you have a negative income while in medical school, but you may also make less money in your residency than you have to pay out in student loans. However, I agree with most of the other posters that you are probably better off without her. If she wants FUTURE financial stability, a medical student certainly trumps T-mobile kiosk owner!

Well, med school is probably keeping you busy and maybe she just made up some excuse so she could find someone to spend more time with? No worries though man, just focus on studying now. Worry about the ladies later on.

What makes you think the guy at the kiosk isn't trying to pay his way through college? Maybe you're not? Is entitlement the reason she really left you? If you're pulling good grades and paying for your classes, she's a moron and you'll find someone else.
