Today, at work I got an urgent message from my boyfriend that there was an emergency and I should come home immediately. I took my last personal day of the month and drove the half-hour home. The emergency? The cat had vomited on the comforter. FML

Today, I’m pet-sitting for my parents while they’re on vacation. So far, one cat has projectile vomited all over the living room, and another has pooped in their bed. Twice. My parents were not concerned when I called, and said this is normal behavior. FML

I get that OPs cat is their responsibility but surely? Even with a bowl over the vomit it's going to seep into the floor and leave a way worse stain than if it were cleaned straight away. The dad obviously wants to live with gross floors. And what about the smell?

I'm just going to GUESS that the vomit is somewhere near OP's room, or favorite secluded hangout place in the house. (Or maybe a kitchen floor) I can't imagine the dad letting it sit otherwise. Unless he's on a level of lazy I refuse to socialize with.
