Today, my boyfriend told me on the phone that he thought we were too poor for value-pack bacon. When I got home, I found he had gone to work leaving two lights and the TV on, and that the shower was running. He said, "Turning things on and off takes too much time! Who cares about money?" FML

Today, my boyfriend asked me to pick up a few things from the store for him while he was at work. After picking up everything he asked for, I wasn't left with much money so I used $50 from my account. When he got home he then grumbled about me spending all of "his" money. FML

Lights, I get. We leave a couple of lights on when we leave (if its dark out) so it's not obvious no one's home and I know a ton of people that do that. We'll even leave the tv on if we're going to be gone a little longer because my husband's hound is stupid and thinks that, if the tv's on, obviously someone is home with him. But the shower??? That one makes me cringe. I can't even imagine just walking away and leaving the water running. I can't stand it when someone leaves a sink trickling.
