Today, my boyfriend and I were watching a TV show about wildlife. The moment the narrator said the word "peacock", my boyfriend broke down into hysterical laughter. He laughed to the point of tears, and had to excuse himself. I'm dating a man-child. FML

That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore

Today, I realized how visibly upset my boyfriend got whenever a certain female friend leaves. When my other friend and I teased him about secretly being in love with her, he completely lost it. He threw a temper tantrum, spilled milkshake all over the floor, and stormed out of the mall. It was just a joke. FML

All men are man-children on the inside, and believe it or not us women also have our inner child too. It's just that some of us for some crazy reason try to force that inner child to hide and try to act "mature" all of the time. Be glad that your man has a sense of humor and stop being so serious. He's inside the privacy of his home with the woman of his life. He should be able to be his goofy self around you. If he can't be himself and be goofy around his life partner, then who can he be himself around? Why take that right away from him just because you want to act so mature? Lighten up and laugh at stupid things too when you're alone with him. You won't regret it!
