At least if you tell people how to pronounce it, they'll get it right after that. Not try and struggle until giving up and calling you by something else of their choice.

I tell people how to pronounce my name all the time; there's a bunch of consonants, but it's phonetic except one letter. Seriously, I've had every variation and even after telling people how to say it they still don't get it. Some people will just say what they want.
