Today, it snowed in South Carolina for the first time in 10 years. It snowed eight whole inches! I was so excited, I yelled for my kids and ran outside to build a snowman. I ran out to the steps and slipped on ice. I woke up in the hospital with a bad concussion. The snow had all melted. FML

Alright, I know that THIS is a lie. I also live in South Carolina, and I'm guessing you live pretty close to me seeing as I also got 8 inches here and that everywhere else got between 2-6. (Because it is true, this is the first time it's snowed in 10 years. And it snowed EVERYWHERE in South Carolina, so I know that they have to live close.) However, this is fake because the snow has NOT melted. Even the places that have 2 inches have not completely melted. It's not a winter wonderland anymore, but it has not 100% melted. Get your facts straight,

Aw, fyl. That first day it snowed in southern VA and we got 8 inches about two weeks ago, my mother, who LOVES snow, had to just watch from a hospital bed (She had just had surgery.). She never got to play in the snow like she would have loved

wow fyl well if yku were in canada you would likely hate the snow.

i live in south carolina, and idk what hole this woman lives in but it has definitely snowed a lot in the past 10 years. and to the people who are saying it was a lack of experience thing, it really is common sense. my two year old cousin knows not to run on ice lol. i mean i get she was excited but really? also where i live we got about 4 inches & it hasn't melted yet, no way it has where there was 8 inches.

Exactly. There was still snow on my car this morning when i left for work cause i hadn't gone anywhere since friday morning. If she's that desperate there is probably still enough snow to build a snowman.

Oh, snick, one day we'll lay together in front of a roaring fire, thumbing through my copy of "Eats Shoots and Leaves!*" Until then. . . *I can't do italics or underlining in these messages.

YDI for not realizing that ice is slippery

LIES. I live near charleston and there is STILL snow in the shade. Even though it was like 50 degrees earlier. But yes, it was pretty night after last, shame you missed it.
