Today, it's so insanely hot that no matter how often I shower or use deodorant the smell of my armpits makes me feel physically sick. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, despite using deodorant religiously and showering twice a day, my roommate still smells so bad that every time she enters the room I become physically sick. FML
Hot and heavy
Today, it’s extremely hot, so showering and deodorant does fuck all for my odor. I thought I could get away with having my arms pressed to my sides at all times, but instead, a boy I don’t even know physically lifted my arms above my head and loudly declared that I stank. FML
Stinky
Today, my natural body odor has gotten so bad that despite wearing 20 swipes of men’s deodorant under each armpit and taking three showers a day with an entire bottle of body wash, I still smell like a cross between onions and hot garbage. I’m a woman. FML
Health hazard
Today, multiple customers have complained about my body odor. Not only can I not smell anything, but I shower three times a day and brush my teeth seven times a day. FML
Rah rah rah
Today, I realised in the middle of my shift how useless my deodorant is in the stifling heatwave spreading through my country. It's no longer effective against my awful B.O., which is a problem because I'm a mascot, and my costume traps the smell inside like a portable toilet. FML
Febreze
Today, my mom yelled at me because even though I shower thoroughly twice a day, I still stink. My mom showers once a week, never wears deodorant, and smells like roses. FML
OK sweaty, time for a bath
Today, I realized my morbidly obese, sweaty sibling is the source of a strange waft I've been smelling when I get home. He'll only shower once a week, so the apartment and furniture smell like sweat and sometimes poo, especially on hot days. I didn't notice until I went outside and stepped back in to follow my nose. FML
Been there before
Today, I'm so chronically sleep-deprived that I sprayed a bathroom air freshener under my arms instead of my deodorant. FML
Today, I've tried literally every possible brand of antiperspirant deodorant available to me in my area. I went to the bathroom to discover I'd pitted out my favorite shirt. It's mild weather, I have done nothing active, and I'm not stressed. My body just loves to make me sweat. FML
Today, I had to use anti-perspirant deodorant under my breasts. FML

Has this happened before? Cause if not, even if it's hot, a sudden ramping up of the severity of body odor can be a sign of something wrong. You may want to see your physician, just in case.

If you are a guy then try and shave your armpits. The sweat sits in your hair and it can help. One of my friends do it because he is a sweaty guy.

I'm with the guys here that suggest you see a doctor. I agree it's horribly hot (I'm in London), but you might thank the heat later for flagging up a potential medical concern. Xx

Hello from Texas, where it regularly gets above 100F! :) But seriously, try different deodorants, men's deodorants (if you're a girl- seriously try it) or see your doc about prescription antiperspirant. Also, remember that antiperspirant and deodorant are different! You want one that is an antiperspirant, or one that is both.

Yes OPP that smell can be nauseating. Try rubbing pure baking soda in places that smell in the shower and rince well. It works wonders for my BF he like to eat garlic lots of garlic.

You should use difference soap or scrub, some deodorants smell funny you can try another brand. Or take 2 showers a day, that is what I do during summer.

The same thing would happen to me when I would wear gel deodorant. It didn't mix well with body for some reason so maybe try a powdered deodorant, or whatever the opposite is that you are using. Good luck
