Today, I was told that I was no longer being considered for the Prison Officer job I have been interviewed for, because a social media check showed I had liked a picture of drugs, so my character is inappropriate. I thought it was a picture of candy. I've never even tried weed. FML

Today, I stole a classmate’s graphic calculator because I couldn’t afford one. She reported it missing to the professor. He wouldn’t let anyone leave class until it turned up. Not even saying I had diarrhea had him let me go. In fact, he told me to empty my backpack right there and then. I’m suspended. FML

Today, I wore a t-shirt that had a rainbow-ish multicolored design when I went to drop off my daughter at school. Another parent threatened to “call the authorities” on me for wanting to “poison” children with “f**got memorabilia,” and to “stop pushing my agenda” on them. I’m a straight dude. FML

Today, I was walking to school and decided to be a good citizen by picking up a beer can on the sidewalk. I then walked on to my school's campus where I then got suspended by my dean for "trying to rebel", grounded by my parents for getting suspended, and an MIP from the school's police guard. FML

Today, I got a call from my son’s teacher, saying that he raised his hand during a test to say he "couldn't focus, because the ‘metroids’ are harassing me.” Apparently, he forgot about the test and took a healthy dose of shrooms right before. FML

first of all, yes your school is a bunch of dumb sh*ts for that lovely piece of idiocy. second, the cliche` red mushroom with white spots is called amanita musciaria (or one of its many other nick names such as fly agaric) and it's actually NOT as toxic as people think, nor is it the "shrooms" that are the actual psilocybin-containing mushroom people eat to trip out. stupidity combined with ignorance. that freaking sucks man.

This reminds me of when my friend wanted to make a Mario 1-up mushroom clay plaque for art class. The teacher started flipping out on him saying "I know what that means!" and how drugs were wrong despite him repeatedly explaining to her where it came from. Siiiigh.
