Today, I went to my regular pharmacist of three months, and since I've always seen him on a crutch, I asked him how his leg was. His response, "Still missing". FML

He is behind a counter first of all, and second he could have had a prosthetic and been wearing pants.

At least he had a sense of humor! :)

Don't sweat it. Most people who are missing body parts actually develop quite a sense of humor about it. I come from a long line of people missing legs, fingers, eyes, ect on both sides of my family. We all laugh about it all the time.

Haha that's kinda funny... (The situation, not the fact that his leg is missing.)

Im guessing he always wore slacks and dress shoes. Should have played it off and said you're still on the lookout for it.

Imagine him sleeping on a park bench & an over amorous dog happens to appear...He'll still be sawing away while fluffy goes to town on his peg-leg!

I can't think of a time I've seen someone with a prosthetic leg use a crutch. A cane, yes, but never a crutch because a prosthetic should be strong enough to put at least some weight on it. So, it is doubtful that he looked like he had two legs. However, there is every chance the OP never saw the lower half of his body, depending on the setup of the pharmacy...

Doesn't Robert David Hall (Doc Robins from CSI) use a crutch? Admittedly he's missing both legs, but still I'm sure there are plenty of amputees using a crutch.
