Today, I went to a coffee shop with my friend. The guy rang her up and said it was only a dollar as he winked at her $10 purchase. Then he rang me up at completely full price. She got his number and I got to be the ugly friend once again. FML

Today, I saw a cute girl working register at my regular coffee shop and politely asked the her for her number. I was brutally rejected. A few minutes later, a douchebag with a popped collar approached her with a cheesy pickup line and left with not only her number, but a free frappe. FML

Today, after talking to the man whose car I scratched, we agreed that the damages and cost of repair were so low and instead of me paying I just buy him coffee. When I showed up he saw me, decided I was too ugly to have coffee with, and instead demanded full payment in cash. FML

I feel for you OP. I too am the ugly friend in my group. As much as it hurts your self-esteem now, do your best to cultivate your social graces so that when your friends and you are all older you'll be the one to shine.

122- I wouldn't say you're ugly. When you lack confidence, other people can tell; trying viewing yourself in a better light, and other's will take notice. Confidence can make anyone seem absolutely beautiful. :)
