Hey, stuff happens. You didn't mention how you "handled it" afterwards. I would have said something like "sorry about that, I hope you realize that was unintentional". If the grab was forceful I might ask if he was okay. If he said he was I would continue on as if nothing had happened. Don't make a big deal out of it... unless you want to later. But doing the boss is rarely a smart move.
Good way to build a close relationship
I have been focused on my recent alien abduction and avoiding the fire ants they left to spy on me. But come to think of it, this happens to me all the time. Whenever I go near a puddle, from out of nowhere, somebody is grabbing my junk. Last week I got my first drive by. Its a crazy ****** up world we live in.
There have been FMLs on rack grabs. That also happens.
