Today, I was waiting for my food at McDonald's. I watched the most obese, sweaty man sneeze into the chips, wipe his nose on his hand and use his hand to shovel chips into a bag. They were my chips. FML

Today, after a long day at work, I was starving, so I stopped by the drive-through for something to eat. When I got home and hurriedly opened the bag, all I found inside was napkins. Thanks, McDonald's. FML
Today, at work, I watched a man throw up in his hands, dump the contents on his plate, then eat the things it "didn't touch." I had to wash his plate. FML
Today, while I was waiting in line at McDonald's, I found out I can sneeze, pee, and poop all at the same time. FML
Today, I was having lunch at McDonald's when I dropped a French fry down my shirt. It stuck out the top of my bra. Before I had the chance to remove it, a creepy man picked it out and ate it saying that it was the best French fry he had ever eaten. FML
Today, I sneezed hard while eating some quite spicy potato chips at my friend's house. Some of the chips passed to the nasal cavity, and I ended up having to pick my nose for some pointy, spicy chips shrapnel. FML
Today, while I was working the drive-thru window, a customer sneezed into his hand and then handed me his money. FML
Today, I ordered food at McDonald's. I'm on crutches, and a guy offered to carry my tray to the table. He rushed out with my food. FML
Today, I stopped at a mini-mart and bought a family-size bag of potato chips, a tub of dip, a box of toaster pastries, and some snack cakes. The guy at the counter said, "Wow, someone's hungry!" I told him it wasn't all for me, paid, and left in a huff. It was all for me. I ate it all by that evening. FML
Today, while working at McDonald's, a woman returned to the drive thru because her fries weren't hot enough. She was so angry about coming back that she threw her cold fries at me through the window and told me to "choke on them." FML
Today, while going to the mall, I witnessed the horror of someone sneezing and shitting themselves at the same time. FML

I take it your American? Because it's American's who call chips 'fries'. America has different words for everything... It is 'chips' in the UK. Similarly, 'chips' in the US are called 'crisps' in the UK.

Actual chips? I'm sorry, but it's the small portion of people like you that cause American's to have a reputation for being ignorant. Who's to say that they should be called one thing or another? MicDonalds is cheap and filling, so it's more affordable for people on limited incomes than the cost of purchasing fresh and healthy meal ingredients. Additionally, many people on limited incomes don't have the time or the necessary equipment (pots/pans, ovens, crock pots, freezers, etc.) to prepare healthy meals. For all these reasons, poor people can also be obese people. Check out the book "Nickel and Dimed in America: On (Not) Getting By" by Barbara Ehrenreich for additional education on this topic.
