Today, I was so proud of a clever analogy I'd written to a friend in a text, that I “dropped the mic” afterward. I realized what I'd done a split second before the phone hit the ground and shattered into a million pieces. FML

Not so clever then are ya cupcake

Never "drop the mic," period, if it's an actual microphone. Those things are expensive and dropping them usually breaks them, just as it would a cell phone, especially more expensive mics with sensitive calibration.

Never "drop the mic" when it's actually your cell phone.

That's an expensive mistake. But that's what you get for doing something so stupid

So, was anyone impressed with you?

Looks like the clever analogy was a fluke. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while.

You use of hyperbole tells me nothing happened other than in your imagination.

Must've been a cheap phone if it broke that badly that easily

Or, you know, an iPhone.

I suppose that broke your self-esteem too?
