Today, I was riding on my bike when a guy on the street shouted, "I LOVE YOU!" at me. I recently told my boyfriend I loved him, and his response was, "I don't love you but I won't treat you any differently." Perverts on the street love me, but my boyfriend doesn't. FML

Today, I was on the phone with my best guy friend, who I have loved for years. I was talking about school and all of a sudden he said, "I love you." I flipped out saying, "Oh my god, oh my god. I love you too!" He responded with, "What?" He was talking to his mom, who was walking out the door. FML

The person on the street was just a random crazy and your boyfriend doesn't have to love you. In fact, what bothers me the most is when people say "I love you" just because they're in a relationship... even if they aren't really in love. #1, her boyfriend isn't an ass for telling the truth. AND he said he won't treat her any differently. He sounds like a gem.

The point of loving someone is that you care about them, not about hearing the other person say it back. Give the guy some time, maybe he'll come around. It's nice that you're in love with him and you can tell him that. It shows you care about him, I'm pretty sure he appreciates it.

OUCH.. but hey, at least he was honest about his feelings rather than him saying "I Love You" back and not being truthful about it!!! A lot of people actually do that because they think that that's what their significant other wants to hear.. which isn't going to help anyone in the situation. HONESTY is still the BEST POLICY!!! He probably isnt ready to fall in love yet.. or he's confused about how he feels for you. Don't Worry bout it girl, and just hang in there. GO WITH THE FLOW. If you really like this dude then stay with him and see where this goes...but if its awkward between the two of you after this then.. you got some decision making to do! GL

At least he is honest, he can't help the way he feels at the moment, you can't force others to love you or fall in love with you, if you do "love" him and are not just saying it, in time he will build those feelings for you.
