Today, I was diagnosed with diabetes. I went to tell my grandpa, who immediately said, "I'm sorry, let's go get ice cream to cheer you up." FML

Probably just slipped out out of habit. When one of my friends is down we always suggest going out to get ice cream. Either that or he doesn't really understand what diabetes is.

It depends if u got type1 or 2 but aslong as u take some insulin to compensate for the suger u algoods. So all u fags hatin on the sweet grandad shut the f*** up

I've had it for 16 years it's hard to cope with but you will get a hang of it and you just have to correct for the carbs you eat

I have had diabetes for two years you can have anything you want to eat just don't go over 75 carbs in a meal and take insulin. Know your own disease

I hope it was type 2 you were diagnosed with then.. I'm a type 1 diabetic and I eat ice cream quite a bit. I don't have to watch my diet. So if your type 1, don't think that you can't have ice cream. Lol. We can eat anything anyone else can.
