Today, I taught my kid how to mow the lawn. It's a self-propelling mower so it's easy to handle. My kid thought it would be smart to tie the handle down so that he wouldn't have to push it at all. This resulted in the lawn mower blasting through our fence and sinking into my neighbor's pool. FML

That's our generation at it's finest!! Ha

Hopefully he won't learn about the lazy man lawn service trick-- where you first need to tie the mower to a tree using a very long rope. :P

I guess goats just can't handle things like that.

So... how pissed off was your neighbor?

Sounds like you need to replace your ricketey (sp?) fence if a lawnmower at a walking pace can break through it. Could be another project for your kid. Maybe don't let him use any electric saws though.

The only way a walk behind self propelled mower is going to blast through a fence is if you shoot it out of a cannon. Those things barely move if the grass is wet. YDI for being a liar.

Holy crap. Are you people really this stupid?

Laziness taken to new levels. Haha nah I tried that before when I was a kid. I didn't crash it through a fence tho.

He's lucky that's the worst of it, people have mowed off a foot during "mower gone wild" moments...

Hey without making mistakes he wouldn't learn, right?
