Today, I met this really nice guy at the mall and he gave me his number. Later that night, I texted him. We got on the subject of food, and I started talking about how much I love veal. He responded with saying I was supporting animal murder, that I should go to hell and lose his number. FML

Well, I mean, it's not the most politically correct meat on the planet. It seems he may be a vegetarian. You should probably lose his number anyway. I mean, you met him at the mall.

Wow, well if hes going to be like that for not being vegan, not worth your time. I'm vegetarian myself but I realize it's not for everyone.

Yeah, you deserved that one for sure. I'm no vegetarian, and veal is tasty, but I can't support the industry. Many, many people don't eat veal in protest to the way it's produced. You should maybe know that and bear it in mind before professing your passionate love for veal so early on in the future. That's kind of like proclaiming your love for racist jokes, you know? Sure, other people like them, too, but it's a subject you want to approach with care. Also, you're a terrible person for eating veal.

(Some of) the vegetarian responses on here are ridiculous you can't have it both ways either 1-we can agree with you saying that animals have feelings (emotions etc.) and are similar/at the same level as us-so therefore we're the animals at the top of the food chain and SHOULD eat meat or 2-we're NOT at the same level as animals, so why should they have the same rights as us? for the record I think that how they USED TO raise veal is pretty sick, but as many people have clearly stated above(which many of you have failed to read) times have changed.

WOW LETS GET SOMETHING STRAIGHT. Animals were put on this for us to eat. It's part of the food chain and mother nature. I keeps the worlds balanced. It's when you get greedy and start wasting and eating too much that is wrong. Eating meat is proportion is what needs to be done- not avoiding meat entirely!
