The teacher had every right to take the phone. You definitely deserved it for texting in class, and not only that but texting someone who was going to send **** picks... what kind of school kid are you? And to those saying looking through stuff is an invasion of privacy; 1. with most smart phones the text message shows up on the lock screen, so they would have seen it then 2. it would be just like a teacher reading a note out in class that was being passed around If you don't want them to look then don't be an idiot
