Today, I had to stand up on a train for my 4-hour journey. Why? Two pregnant women flew into unbridled rage with me over sitting in the priority seating, saying I was selfish. I'm recovering from spinal surgery. FML

And someone else couldn't get up for them? It had to be you and you only?

You should have explained your predicament to them and they probably would have let you sit

Obviously they forgot to put your spine back in.

Why didn't you just tell them to get over it? I wouldn't have given up my seat if I was recovering from surgery. Who cares what they think of you?

Being pregnant isn't a disability. It's just pregnancy, they'll be just fine.

says a 17 year old with no experience with it lol shhhhhhhhhh honey shhh

Just because she's only 17 doesn't make her statement untrue, being pregnant is not a disability. Yes some women have very bad pregnancies however these women were just entitled bitches.

#124 because there are no 17 year olds in the world who have experienced pregnancy

You paid for your spot. Don't let anyone tell you to move just because they don't like it.

I'm a pregnant hormonal woman and even I think that was cruel of them. There's more issues that need priority sitting then pregnant women. I'm sure if you'd had explained...

That's when you should have told them about your condition and that you need the seat just as much - if not more - as them. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself OP.

I admire you OP for giving up your seat but on the other hand you should have explained your predicament. I've seen pregnant women work as waitresses until the day they gave birth. Those girls could have stood there for awhile unless instructed otherwise by a doctor but by your description they're the kind that think they deserve special treatment because they're pregnant. I hope you're doing better OP. :)

I'm sorry, OP. You should have said "screw you" and help your ground.
