Today, my boss suspended me for laughing too hard at my desk and causing a big scene in front of our customers. I was laughing because he'd forwarded me a hilarious email. He was practically smirking as he handed me my official warning. FML

Today, my boss scolded me for being too friendly to our customers and told me to back off and let them do their thing. Less than an hour after doing as he said, he scolded me again, this time for slacking off and not asking them if they needed help finding stuff. There goes my bonus. FML
Today, my boss reprimanded me for my lack of media communications skills. It would be more understandable if I weren't a janitor. FML

Sounds like my work place. There is no winning. One second they want one thing, the next they want the complete opposite and act like you're incompetent for not keeping up with their whims. I just do what I think is best and smile and nod when they reprimand me.
