Today, I got pulled over for a traffic violation. Thinking I could get away with it, I spoke with a French accent. The officer then asked me a question in perfect French. I got a ticket. FML

Today, I was pulled over for speeding. I speak 4 languages and thought if I spoke French, the Officer would let me off with a warning thinking I was a tourist. Afterwards I turned to my wife and said "I can't believe that worked." He was a few feet away and heard. FML

Today, I accidentally edged over the speed limit and got pulled over. The officer asked me if I knew why he'd pulled me over. Before I could say something diplomatic, my dad said from the passenger seat, "Because you're a prick in fancy dress?" I got ticketed. FML

Today, I got pulled over for speeding. I know that I was in the wrong and will take responsibility for that. When the cop handed me my ticket, he asked me if I was smoking crack. I denied it because I don't do drugs. He asked me what that foul odor was. I was passing gas. FML

Murphy's Law! We used to do it with German and a German accent. It worked exactly ONE TIME and only because my mother is over 70 and off Das Boot (about 45 years ago, but don't tell die Polizisten!)

très bien! Vous êtes un génie.....vraiment. hahahahahaha this post made me laugh. YDI, I don't know why on earth you thought this would get you out of a ticket in the first place... seriously where did you try this stunt that you thought it would be successful? The only people who get out of tickets are hot chicks, little old ladies, and grumpy old men. The rest of us just have to follow the rules....and not try to fake accents to get out of tickets.
