Today, I found out that my mom isn't coming to see me for Christmas. Instead she'll be spending it in jail for a DUI and battery. Thank you to my cocklick of an aunt for taking a recovering alcoholic to a bar and pressuring her into relapse. FML

As a recovering addict myself i understand how people, places, and things have such an impact on ones sobriety and I'm very sorry you have to deal with an Aunt who clearly doesn't care about your moms sobriety...try to have a Merry Christmas OP

My uncle is sitting in jail for Christmas for being a drug addict, he is released on the 27th.
