bullshit. the photographer would never have said a thing like that. they have to photograph less-than-beautiful people all the time, it's their job. now i would believe that they wouldn't let you in the picture if you weren't dressed appropriately. you'd ruin the pictures, and your mother would be correct, that would be your own fault. i tend to believe that's what happened and you're just trying to get sympathy. put on a suit if you're going to a wedding!
