Today, I bought my son a nice car for his 18th birthday. When I gave it to him, he just got mad and told me that if I really wanted to spend that much money on him, I should've used it to help him pay for college. FML

Today, my dad is mad at me because I refused to buy a truck. An ugly old Isuzu with two flat tires and a missing headlight, and the owner said it needed a new transmission & brakes, but still wanted $8000. Apparently, without consulting me, Dad promised him I'd buy it as payment for guns he bought. Now he's in debt. FML

This reminds me of my mother and when she would spend 20$ here and hundreds there when all I was trying to do was save for a laptop, get a job and move to pay my own rent and such. Probably how I would've responded too.

He's very ungrateful. I'm a parent and I know school cost money, I have kids in college, so why doesn't he use the car to get a JOB so he can pay. He's a grown man, you didn't have to give him nothing but the boot!! Take it back, I know some 18 year olds, shit I know adults that would've all been very thankful. Spoiled brat couldn't just say Thanks. Smh
