That's not the point. If she applied for a computer-based job, you know, a job that primarily uses COMPUTERS, she should know how to do simple things like highlight text and double click already. The fact that she doesn't and managed to get the job seems rather fishy to me. There must have been some degree of under-the-table agreement when she was hired.

Whoever hired her must be her grandchildren or something, seriously, if she's training for a job that's 100% computer-based, and doesn't even know these things.. I bet she doesn't know what alt-f4 does either and all those fancy tri-- err shortcuts ;p Just tell your boss she's not competant enough for the job and find someone else

Hopefully a replacement because you quit, not got fired. But FYL. You should talk to your boss if you think she's underqualified.

I can't remember the last time I saw a qualified person in any position, at any job; so this is nothing new.
