Today, I ate lunch alone. None of my colleagues saved me a seat. One of those colleagues was my husband. He didn't even have the decency to move so that I wouldn't have to eat alone. FML

When you go to sleep tonight, take up the whole bed and tell him there's no room.

I know really? This seems like a petty thing to complain about. Next time it happens, either sit alone and bitch to yourself like an old grumpy cat lady or take the opportunity to go make new friends like the very outgoing attractive girl that has a lot of male friends cause she gets along with dudes better and all of their girlfriends are jealous and don't like her because of it.

then possibly leave him

ya, you should throw away an entire marriage because your husband was an ass and didn't sit with you....grow up, and PLEASE never get married. divorce rate is high enough.

riiiight. so 3rd grade rules apply to marriage now? don't save me a seat and we're done? a bit of an overreaction, wouldn't you say?

Leave him?? Enjoy the rest of your lonely life.

To be honest, I think that's something to definitely tall about but not necessarily get a divorce over. If he is inconsiderate like this all the time, then yes. if not, I am sure he had his reasons and guys can just be oblivious sometime (not trying to defend him here). So yes, divorce would be the solution if she is unhappy with him or if he doesn't treat her with respect or as in this case, simply doesn't care about her.

leave him? omg just ask him to move over for chrissakes. it's not his fault you have no social skills.

chop your breakfast on a mirror

time for a new husband!!

WallyTheWombat 0

This attitude is why divorce rates are so high, especially in the US (I know OP is from Switzerland). Why try to work out your problems with your supposedly significant other when you can just take half his stuff and find a new one more suited to your needs at the moment? People are getting married too early and don't take the time to really get to know each other.

high five Wally !

How do you know OP is from Switzerland? OP might be from anywhere in the world and be working in Switzerland. About 1/4 of swiss residents are non-Swiss.

WallyTheWombat 0

Because it says Switzerland on the top part so that's what I'm going by. Prove to me that OP doesn't live there.

43 seems like the type of person who would watch a video on YouTube and not read the description, then proceed to make an ass of themselves on the comment board. You fail.

I can't, just like you can't prove she is. But I can bring some elements: if she is really from Switzerland, canton de Vaud, her mother language would be French. She'd be more likely to post on the French part of FML. Plus, her English level is much higher than most Swiss people's. I'm from there myself and the average person would say "keep a seat", a direct translation from French. Ok, she might be, for some reason, extra good at English, it's a possibility. Plus, there are a lot of international corporations and organizations in canton de Vaud, thus a lot of expats. She might as well be American, British, Swedish, Indian or whatever. Finally, she doesn't seem to know many people where she's working so maybe she hasn't been there for so long. But it doesn't really matter.

64 nailed it.

64 there is something on fml where if there arent enough good fmls they go to other versions and translate them to proper english. so it will make more sence to us

lol just talk to him about it.
