Today, I asked a guy if he could buy me a pack of cigarettes, since I'm still under 18. He took my money, went into the supermarket, and must have slipped out a side-entrance, because he never came back. FML

Today, a man in a hurry asked me for a light. Not being able to find my lighter amongst the muddle inside my handbag, I handed him my lit cigarette so he could light his. He took it from me, started smoking it and walked off. FML
Today, my loneliness pushed me to buy a pack of cigarettes just so I had to show my ID to the clerk, hoping he would wish me a happy birthday. I don't even smoke and he didn't say anything. FML
Today, my friend and I wanted to get some alcohol (we're under 21). We went to a liquor store and asked a random guy to go in and buy us some vodka. After giving him $20, he said he had to go turn off his car, then he'd get us the drinks. He got in his car and drove off, with my $20. FML
Today, a homeless guy asked me for a cigarette. Knowing that I only had a couple left in my pack, I gave it to him. He opened it, took one out and thanked me profusely. A bit surprised, I went on my way. Oh yeah, that's right, the pack contained the money I'd withdrawn from an ATM. FML
Today, when I went to the gas station to buy beer, some underage punk outside asked me to buy him booze. I told him to get bent, but the dumbass cashier had seen me talking to him, and refused to let me buy alcohol because, "This is obviously a sting." FML
Today, on my way home from grocery shopping, two young adults around my age came up and asked me for a lighter. Thinking they just needed it to light a cigarette, I handed them my only lighter. They immediately ran away. I got robbed for a 1.99$ lighter. FML
Today, as he was going out, I asked my father if he stop by the store and buy some tampons for me and toilet paper for the house, because we have been out for the last 5 days. He came home with a 30-pack of beer and cigarettes instead. I just started my time of the month and we have no more money. FML
Today, I gave a man a cigarette. He spent the rest of the day so far following me around, telling me all about his medical history, and chasing after me when I got too far away. I couldn't get rid of him for hours. FML
Today, I picked up a carton of cigarettes for my stepfather from the store. He smokes the equivalent of nearly half my paycheck a fortnight. FML
Today, I was picking up my little sister from school and while waiting I decided to have a smoke. I was caught and was told to go to the principal's office. I'm 23. FML

Have to say you deserved this one. Smoking is a nasty habit and doing it underage just happens to be illegal. Call the laws unfair, but they're put in place for a reason. The other guy didn't even do anything illegal, but you did. I hope you take this as a sign to quit smoking and take up some healthier habits.

Really? All smokers are idiots because it -COULD- give them cancer? Everyone seems to be under the belief that if you smoke you will 100% of the time die from it, and that is simply not the case. Not saying it's a good thing to do, but I'm saying your lack of information gives you no right to call anyone else an idiot. Here's a good example: "Skin cancer is the most common of all cancers." "Skin cancer kills more surfers than drownings and is the #1 cause of death in surfers." By those two quotes, which are true, I could follow your example and say all surfers are idiots for having a hobby that will kill them from sun exposure. Just to stress this, that is not the case. Second hand smoke only effects you if you allow yourself to be directly where the smoke is, since it's mostly illegal to smoke indoors now, if you find yourself being effected, you're probably somewhere you shouldn't be. ALL of that aside, OP, YDI for handing money to someone you don't know, period.
