Today, at a restaurant, I happily watched as my boyfriend of three years got down on his knees and proposed to me. Before I could say yes and hug him, a girl flung herself at him, kissed him and shouted, "Yes!" With us still highly confused, she then ran away. FML

Today, at a romantic dinner my boyfriend was treating me to, the waiter brought a "Will you marry me?" cake out, with candles and sparklers. I probably should have checked that they'd brought it to the right table before dramatically screaming ,"Yes!" and jumping into my boyfriend's arms. They hadn't. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend of nearly 2 years out to dinner so I could propose. When the waiter brought the check, I caused a bit of a scene to get everyone's attention. When I got on my knee and proposed, she said no and asked if I could hurry up and pay, because she was embarrassed. FML

Today, my fiancé proposed to me at the movies. The movie stopped in the middle, and my fiancé stands up, takes out a microphone and announces to the entire theatre that he loves me. Right when he went on one knee, someone shouts, "Turn the movie back on!", and throws a cup of coke at my head. FML

Honestly, if that happened to me i would have laughed about it after i got over the initial shock. People take life way too seriously. This its am amazingly awesome story to tell. Just be happy you are engaged.

Not going to lie, if this happened to me I'd laugh. Was it awkward and random, yes, but she has a lot of balls to go up and do something like that. Don't let it get you down OP! Your boyfriend proposed and a random girl doing that won't ruin it....unless she's the mistress, which she isn't so it's all good! Plus, you now have a funny story to tell your kids/friends/family about. Everyone wins!
