Dude I own a business, and I can't tell you how many times I "really should have hired my little brother". First day on the job he tells me to shut the **** up. Fired his ass lol.
its your business. do what is right for it. hire her to clean the bathrooms. as an unpaid intern.
She's gonna go places
Maybe not college, but… places.
As a fellow business owner I'm going to say YDI. Unless you can afford to pay for a deadbeat on your staff you should tell the girl to get lost and tell your dad it wasn't a good fit. Family interference can sometimes make or break a business. Your dad may not know that but you should.
It never says OP hired her. For all we know, this was said in an interview...
the appropriate response is, "do you want any, like, real money?"
Family is there to support you, to love you and to drive you crazy.
You didn't hire her right?
Don't hire her. Simple.

Pay her in Monopoly money. If she doesn't do any "real" work," she won't get any "real money."
Just tell her that she doesn't have to work, "You just, like, won't get real paychecks."
